Designed for capturing long running events like weddings, without the need to continually load film, these backs are best combined with the Motor Drive-E, Motor Winder-E/Ei/Ei II, or Speed Grip-E. Given the difficulty in now obtaining 70mm film, this is not a commonly used component. Especially as they were only produced up until the first ETRS generation of cameras, they are also very rare to find.

In the ETRS camera manual, the back is given a generic name of “70mm Film Back”. This name is found in the ETRS generation product instructions for this component. ↩︎
